Cm Gifts 70 Developmental Works Of Worth Rs. 131 Crores To Chhota Udaipur In One Day

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel today virtually laid foundation stone and dedicated 70 different developmental works of worth Rs. 131 crore in tribal area Chhota Udaipur district. CM dedicates 3 group water supply schemes newly constructed at a cost of Rs. 84.56 crore and 2 veterinary clinics, 2 rural roads and 45 new Anganwadis in the tribal district. He also handed over 'Maa' cards to various beneficiaries, pension assistance allotment letters to Gangaswarupa women’s and kits to kids.

CM said that the key to development is water. Gujarat has faced water scarcity two and a half decades ago.Now with the visionary planning of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, water is reaching every house and people get enough water.Our previous generation inherited water - we need to preserve that water for our future generations.

  CM added that we have achieved success in providing water, education, health, electricity, roads and other facilities to the remote villages under the guidance of Shri Narendra Modi.Tribal children are now studying in English medium at doorsteps.Not only that, but are also engaged in higher career fields like doctor, engineer, pilot.

  CM expressed that this developmental works of tribal areas in the year of Amrut Mahotsav will prove to be Amrut Parv.Freedom fighters had fought for independence and after independence the soldiers at the border serve for the nation, at that time we must save water, save electricity and serve the nation by using less plastic.

  Mentioning that the goal of the state government is to provide pure drinking water to every household, Health and Water Supply Minister Shri Hrishikeshbhai Patel said that water supply is being arranged in Chhota udaipur district at an estimated cost of Rs. 250 crore. Extensive arrangements have been made to provide Narmada water in this area.Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's dream was to place tribal families living in 14 districts of the state in the ranks of advanced society. After 2001 development has been seen in Gujarat and India, the model of development of Gujarat has become a source of inspiration for development today. It is planned to supply tap water to all the villages and all the houses in Chhota udaipur district, along with the benefit of irrigation facility.
