Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel has taken important public interest decisions regarding simplification of revenue process and transparency in administration in the state.

Revenue Minister Shri Rajendra Trivedi while giving an introduction to this important decision taken by the present state government said that the Chief Minister has taken these important decisions by accepting the report of the Shri C.L Meena Committee to a large extent.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, following the leading practice of good governance established by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Bhai Modi, has adopted a simple and transparent approach to resolving the issues arising out of the inconsistency of the new / old condition with respect to the 24 reward abolition laws.

Previously, due to lack of clear guidelines in this regard, applicants had to approach the state level for redressal of such issues. As a result, the workload of the revenue department increased and due to different interpretations, the resolution of such issues was greatly delayed.

When the matter came before the Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, he directed the Revenue Minister and the Revenue Department to resolve the matter amicably with a definite and quick decision.

As a result, the revenue department has planned extensive work to remove the ambiguity and dilemma of new and old conditional lands in the case of 24 such repealed laws and detailed instructions in this regard will be issued by the revenue department.
