In a historic visit to Rajkot, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, alongside State Government Spokesperson Minister Shri Rushikesh Patel, unveiled an ambitious blueprint for Gujarat's future—a colossal investment exceeding ₹48,000 crores across diverse development projects. This groundbreaking initiative, spanning healthcare, sustainable energy, infrastructure, and more, marks a transformative leap for the state.

The centerpiece of the day was the inauguration of five All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) across the nation, including the prestigious AIIMS Rajkot. Valued at ₹1195 crores, AIIMS Rajkot is set to redefine healthcare accessibility in the region, offering a range of services including IPD facilities, hostels, and OPD services spanning 14 departments.

Sustainable energy solutions took the spotlight with the inauguration of a transmission scheme for 3 GW Renewable Energy at Khawda PS, coupled with the foundation stone laying for 10 Power Projects. This substantial investment of over ₹15,000 crores underscores Gujarat's commitment to a greener and more sustainable energy landscape.

The state's infrastructure received a robust boost with the foundation stone laying for the New Mundra to Panipat Crude Oil Pipeline Project (New MPPL), valued at over ₹9000 crores. Simultaneously, highways in Bhavnagar (₹2000 crores) were inaugurated, alongside the initiation of a new six-lane highway in Kutch (₹1500 crores), promising improved connectivity and economic growth.

Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, the healthcare sector witnessed an infusion of over ₹1500 crores. The projects included a Maternal and Child Hospital in Rajkot, a cardiology institute, a multi-specialty hospital in Vadodara, and the establishment of numerous new health centers across the state.

Transportation took a pivotal role with the inauguration of the doubling of the Surendranagar-Rajkot Rail Line (₹1300 crores). Additionally, the laying of the foundation stone for three railway projects in Kutch (₹700 crores) promises enhanced connectivity and economic development.

The visit showcased a mosaic of multi-sectoral initiatives, including projects under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Energy & Petrochemicals Department, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Water Supply Department, Roads and Buildings Department, and the Tourism Department.

Gujarat now stands at the threshold of a promising future. These visionary projects not only promise immediate economic benefits but also set the stage for a sustainable and progressive state. As the sun sets on this momentous day, it rises on a new era of possibilities for the people of Gujarat. The ₹48,000 crore vision has been unveiled, and the canvas is ready for a renaissance.
